Ty morgans is a new guest house situated in the centre of the beautiful market town of Rhayader. Ty morgan’s is a three story town house that had been totally renovated in the spring of 2009, giving it a modern fresh look to the accommodation. We have now another four rooms, all double en-suite making in total nine beautifully done out rooms. Rhayader is in next to the outstanding Elan Valley, with its beautiful lakes and stunning scenery a great place for waking and cycling!
The rooms have all been individually designed and all have en-suite facilities. Hearty Welsh breakfasts are served every morning in our breakfast room. The guest house is part of a complex that includes Morgans Bistro and Bar as well as the Strand Coffee and Sandwich shop, all overlooking the town centre. The Bar is new to the complex it has seperate menu to the Bistro, indoor seating area and for those lovely summers evenings a court yard seating area.
The beautiful scenery and peaceful lakes can't be missed during a visit to the Elan Valley. The Elan Valley Cycle Track is a great way to walk or cycle around the dams and reservoirs. The Track starts in Cwmdauddwr and ends at Craig Coch Dam. The track is about 8 miles long but is on easy terrain.
