Ocean View House

Ocean View Guest House is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Ventnor is a charming victorian seaside town and has been featured in many magazines and publications as the ideal getaway; close enough to London for a pleasant journey but with all the quaintness, beauty and chill out charm of Devon & Cornwall.

It is situated on the south coast of the Isle of Wight and it is nestled below St Boniface Down, creating its own unique micro climate, often giving glorious summers and a slightly milder Winter, Spring and Autumn than the rest of the country.

The two front facing rooms have balconies with panoramic sea views. The balcony has a removeable partition so if the two rooms are rented to the same party the divide could be taken away, giving a large space for alfresco dining and sunbathing.

Each balcony is equipped with dining tables and chairs, and in summer, an umbrella and sun loungers. There is no smoking in the rooms but smoking is permitted on the balcony for which outdoor ashtrays are provided.

The third room has a side aspect and there are still lovely sea views when seated at the dining area in the large bay window. This room also has the largest of the bathrooms and if you have the window open on a warm day you can see the sea whilst taking a bath!

In the summer, Ventnor offers the obvious charms of a quaint seaside resort with its sandy beach, crystal clear waters (ideal for snorkelling) and waterside pubs and eateries. In the winter you can wrap up warm and walk along the sea front, dodging the crashing waves and head to the sea front pubs with cosy fires. Either side of Ventnor bay the coastline stretches for miles and is dotted with many stunning coves, each individual in their landscape, many of them within walking distance.

Ocean View House is the ideal place to stay to visit the whole of the Island but with many attractions close to hand.
