Welcome to Elm Lodge,
Set around a small courtyard in a Georgian home are two self-catering apartments ( sleeping 2 and 4) or up to 5 en-suite rooms, all with independent access, which together will accommodate up to 10 people. Recently converted yet retaining many of the property’s original features including a wealth of exposed beams, the accommodation has been tastefully and sympathetically furnished. Ludlow is often called "the perfect historic town". Situated on the River Teme in the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches, its medieval street pattern survives almost intact, along with many ancient properties including a magnificent ruined castle and one of the largest parish churches in England. Elm Lodge is situated in open countryside on the outskirts of Ludlow (1 mile from town centre).
Ludlow is in south Shropshire, roughly half way between Shrewsbury (45 mins) & Hereford (35 mins). Ludlow is easily accessible from the Motorway network, either the M5 near Kidderminster (1 hour), the M54 Telford (40 mins) or M50 (1 hour). An efficient train service runs from Manchester to Cardiff calling at Ludlow, trains run approximately every hour. From the station taxis are easily available to Elm Lodge, it is a 20 minute walk.
