Claverton House is an Edwardian Property situated within secluded and landscaped gardens. Located in a country lane position close to the A21 in East Sussex.

An ideal base to explore the area, steeped in 1066 history. Battle, with its abbey ruins, is 4 miles, and Rye, with its antique shops and tea houses is nearby. There are beautiful beaches within 8 miles including Winchelsea, Camber Sands and Hastings.

We have 6 Sumptuously furnished en-suite guest bedrooms all equipped with ample facilities including: Satellite, LCD television, MiniBar, safety deposit box, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and amenities packs.

Our licensed restaurant is set in our elegantly decorated 10 seat dining room overlooking the main garden. Dinner is served between 7.00pm and 9.30pm. Our menu contains gastro pub style meals including favorites such as sesame and dill crab cakes, mini lamb koftas, grilled fillet steak and seabass fillets.

Visit the many National Trust properties, castles and country houses. Also there is plenty of scenic walking, cycling and bird watching nearby for guests to do. For those who want to there discover real beauty there are Vineyards within walking distance, ideal for picnicking.
