The Ullswater View lies beside Ullswater, a short distance from the popular waterfall, Aira Force. All bedrooms have breathtaking lake views, enabling guests to enjoy Ullswater and the surrounding fells from morning till night. Treat yourself to a superior double room for a bit of pampering or enjoy quality family time in our spacious family suite.

Our luxurious conservatory is the perfect place to unwind after a day in the lakes with a drink from our well stocked, fully licensed bar. WiFi broadband is available free of charge for those who require it.

After a great night’s sleep you can enjoy a hearty, home cooked Cumbrian breakfast in our spacious restaurant overlooking the lake.

We are three miles from Pooley Bridge and five miles from Glenridding. Windermere and Keswick are only thirty minutes drive away. There are many activities available nearby, including walking, pony trekking, fishing and boating. For those who enjoy golf there is a driving range at Penrith and numerous golf courses within easy reach. Ullswater 'Steamers' cruise the lake and are popular with walkers who take the cruise from Glenridding to Howtown on the east shore and walk back on the footpath along the shore and through woodland. From here the scenery is magnificent, with views across to Helvellyn. However, just cruising on the Lake is a very relaxing way of viewing the scenery, which becomes even more magnificent in the Autumn.
