Welcome to Parrock Lumb Cottages comprising The Dairy ,The Shippon and the Farm.
All three cottages have been refurbished to an extremely high standard, blending a mixture of the original stone building with the comforts of modern living. Located in Rossendale,in beautiful walking country, close to the Lancashire/Yorkshire border.
We are situated 1100 feet above sea level and about 1.5 miles away from Bacup. Historic Haworth is about 35 minutes away, and the Yorkshire Dales are less than 1 hour away, The M62 is about 25 mins. Alternatively Manchester Airport is about 1 hours drive or Leeds-Bradford airport about 1 Hour 10 minutes away.

Whatever you need from a relaxing break, you will find a warm welcome here and the views around the Pennines are simply breathtaking.
At busy periods, Christmas and Easter a five day minimum stay will apply. We will try to accommodate varying lengths of stay to appreciate the cottages at their best.

All three cottages can be let singly or jointly, there is easy access and ample parking, the exterior is traditional stone walls with grey slate roofs with victorian cast iron lampposts.Inside the 600mm+ thick walls all is modern clean and bright with comfortable open plan living areas with leather sofas, dining areas and large open plan kitchens with all modern appliances and lots of crockery. Both floors have underfloor c/heating so wandering barefoot is a simple luxury.
Upstairs large comfy beds await with all duvets and towels provided.
