Kathleen and Duncan Christophers welcome you to Oaklands. Enjoy the charm and elegance of their early Victorian home. Oaklands is situated in a leafy tranquil location with private off road parking on the edge of the attractive town of Bovey Tracey which is commonly known as "The gateway to the moor".

An ideal location for somewhere to relax and unwind or to sample the many adventures of exploring South Devon's glorious countryside and less than 25 minutes away from the coast. Bovey Tracey is one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor, with a number of unique visitor attractions and a good mixture of shops. A pretty cob and Dartmoor-granite built town, situated on the River Bovey it is home to the internationally renowned Devon Guild of Craftsmen, based in a 19th century water mill on the river.

Other local attractions include the House of Marbles glass blowing and visitor centre, the Craft Centre and the National Trust’s Parke Estate. On alternate Saturday mornings, the town’s Farmers Market sells local produce.
