Farm Cottage, a 5 Star Gold Award winning property, is a deceptive name for a large stone-built house oozing with character, which has been occupied by the owner's family for approximately 200 years.

Situated in the village of Thropton, 2 miles west of Rothbury and on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, it is ideally positioned to explore the county’s many attractions, such as the Alnwick Garden, the stunning coastline with its amazing castles, Hadrian’s Wall and, last but not least, the National Trust’s ‘jewel in the crown’ Cragside House and Gardens.

Throughout Farm Cottage you will find an eclectic collection of antiques and curios creating a totally unique ambiance - a brilliant mix of old and new. The two guest sitting rooms provide welcoming areas of relaxation together with flat screen TV and DVD player plus a diverse selection of reading material.

The emphasis at Farm Cottage is quality throughout. From beautifully dressed beds and dining tables to crystal glass accessories and Penhaglions of London luxury toiletries, you can be assured you will experience the best of quality, service and attention to detail.
