We are proud of our reputation for good food, comfort and service. As resident proprietors, we offer much more personal attention for our guests in the friendly and relaxing atmosphere of this Victorian 4 storey building retaining many original features. Off street car parking is available with some undercover parking available, ideal for soft top cars or where diving gear etc. needs to be stored out of sight at a small extra cost.

Ilfracombe is ideally situated for the miles of golden beaches, spectacular coastal walks and the Exmoor National Park. Coach and boat trips leave just minutes from the Guest House. You can sail to the peaceful, beautiful and un-spoilt Lundy Island, or visit one of the many open farms, children's theme parks, a butterfly house or the birds of prey centre. Bowling, fishing, quad bikes, clay pigeon shooting and an indoor swimming pool are all nearby.

We are more than happy to provide you with a bed and breakfast service during the summer as there are a range of excellent restaurants in Ilfracombe most within a 400yd walk. The option of an evening meal is available with us if you are expecting to arrive before 6:00 pm as our evening meal is served at 6:30 between September and May (Not on a Sunday) as there is a lot less choice of restaurants open especially on a Monday. We cook local produce wherever possible and offer a vegetarian option. As the meals are all prepared by us we can cater for vegan, diabetic, salt free, additive free and gluten free dietary requirements etc. as long as you let us know in advance when you inform us of your choices off the menu. Our three course evening meal, at £20 per person (with reductions for children) includes chilled still water. We no longer have a drinks licence. If you wish to provide a 'stronger' drink with your meal we will provide glasses, or chilling and we do not charge corkage.
