Alltybrain Farm Cottages

Whatever time you wish to take a holiday at Alltybrain Farm there is always a stunning view of the Welsh countryside be enjoyed! In spring and summer there are scenes of sheep with their lambs in near by fields and in the distance the hills are covered in purple heather. During the autumn and winter months the fabulous change of leaf colour and then later frosts give the most spectacular views from the cottages. There is plenty of wild life to observe and foxes, hares and badgers seem to like taking a short cut back to their dens through the gardens. Hopefully not via the chicken and duck houses!

The Brecon Beacons National Park covers about 519 square miles with the Black Mountains in the east, the Brecon Beacons in the middle with Pen-y-Fan rising to 2,907ft and the Black Mountain and the Carmarthen Fans in the west.

Duck Cottage is a delightful barn which has recently been converted into a luxury cottage for two people retaining many of the old features and has a beautifull view from each window. Damson cottage is a charming romantic cottage located 4½ miles from the historic market town of Brecon and situated in a beautiful position set back from the yard at Alltybrain Farm. The Hayloft has recently been converted from part of an old cow-byre on the yard at Alltybrain Farm. The Loft can be booked for just one night or more, and is fully centrally heated offering comfortable accommodation for 2-4 people. The village pub is within easy walking distance, the popular Cradoc Golf Club is 3 miles away and there is access to public footpaths from the cottage with an abundance of wildlife, flora, fauna and many different kinds of unusual birds to observe. The rivers Usk and Wye are close by with plenty of fishing available. The famous book town of Hay on Wye is a 30 minute drive away, Cardiff and Swansea are 50 minutes away and Tenby 1 hr 30 minutes.
