Tantons Hotel

The Tantons Hotel lies at the heart of historic Bideford, adjacent to the town centre and opposite the ancient bridge that crosses the river Torridge, whilst Bideford itself is geographically situated at the heart of North Devon.

Tantons Hotel is privately owned with 50 bedrooms and managed so that a personal and friendly service is always guaranteed. The entire hotel is continually being refurbished during the year to a very tasteful level. Free WiFi is available in all the public areas.

A scenic and largely rural region, North Devon is bordered by Exmoor National Park, renowned for its striking country and coastal views and herds of wild deer. The North Devon coastline, studded with tiny harbour towns, excellent swimming beaches and breathtaking cliff-top walks, is also so picturesque that it has been designated 'an area of outstanding natural beauty', so Tantons Hotel is ideally situated for experiencing these delights. From Bideford you can also visit the scenic Island of Lundy which can be reached by regular sailings on the “Oldenburg” where you experience the Puffins and seals in there natural environment.

We have amenities for Four Meeting Rooms, all with natural daylight, perfect for all requirements – from an annual sales conference, to a fast moving training course or board meeting.
Seating up to 120, the Kipling Suite is an ideal venue for a conference, seminar or banquet, whilst the Grenville room is more suitable for business meetings or training courses.

The Raleigh & Kingsley room is perfect for interviews, syndicates or just as break out rooms. Finally the unique setting and décor of the Boardroom is ideal for executive board meeting.
