Many of its rooms offer views of the historic valley of Woodchester, home of the Orpheus Pavement dating back to 325 AD. It appears that even the Romans appreciated the beauty of the five Valleys. It is situated in the picturesque setting of the 5 valleys of Woodchester, Nailsworth, Stroud, Slad and Stonehouse.
