For over two centuries, travellers and local residents have enjoyed the hospitality, comfort, excellent ale, fine fayre and beautiful surroundings of this charming 17th Century Inn. The Inn is conveniently situated near Winchfield railway station, with ample parking facilities and easy access from all major roads in the area. It still retains many original features, yet provides modern accommodation at competitive rates.

Surroundings are rural, restful and ideal as a meeting place for visitors or locals, or for those needing accommodation while visiting the many industrial centres in the area. Drinking and dining are two features that a good Inn’s reputation depends on and we will go to extraordinary lengths to make sure that you enjoy and get good value in both.

We pride ourselves on our wide selection of Real Ales, kept in their peak condition in our cellars. We also offer chef-prepared meals from a great menu with daily specials from fresh local ingredients. Lunch is served 12pm to 2pm and Dinner from 6pm to 9pm
