Each kitchen is fully fitted and includes a microwave and dishwasher. Regular Farmers Markets in the town centre - buy excellent local produce. Jedburgh Castle Jail - recently voted one of the most haunted houses in Britain! The coast is only about 40 minutes away, this is the pretty fishing port of Eyemouth and St Abbs Head nearby. Market Square, Jedburgh part of the conservation area of the town. Riverside and waymarked walks around the town. Larkhall Burn cottages face south east and have open views across the countryside.

A wealth of things to do and see within an hours drive, encompassing Edinburgh and the Highlands to the north, Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens to the south, Holy Island and St Abbs Head to the east, and St Mary's Loch to the west.

Our self catering cottages are situated on the hillside each with it's own balcony, affording views of the town and surrounding countryside. Each cottage is purpose built offering modern comfortable accommodation which is fitted out to the highest standards and includes gas central heating and double glazing.

The location is within a minutes walk of the town centre and all its amenities and facilities, so you can leave the car behind in the on-site car park and enjoy a choice of restaurants, pubs, (some with local evening entertainment) a fitness centre with 25m swimming pool, tennis and squash courts.

There are regular farmers and continental markets held in the town centre; annual festivals include the Jedburgh Callants Festival at the end of June and the beginning of July; Jedburgh Half marathon in October and rugby at The Riverside. There is an excellent Gateway Visitor Centre for information of, " what to see and do", during your stay. The cottages provide seclusion and privacy. Local visitor attractions include a 12th century abbey, Mary Queen of Scots house and a Georgian Reform Jail, as well as waymarked walking and cycling routes - (bicycle hire nearby).

All our cottages have been built to the latest energy efficient techniques which give about a 95% heat efficiency. Full double glazing and mains gas central heating throughout.The surrounding gardens are organic.We operate a waste recycling scheme on-site and ask our guests to participate.
