One finds a restful, friendly atmosphere here at The Grange, which has a reputation second to none, good food and personal, courteous service awaits you.

The twelve bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and decorated; all have their own private bathrooms and boast pretty views.

There is a spacious, comfortable lounge with an open fire and there is a beautiful dining room; both look on to the terrace and rose garden beyond. The Grange is fully licensed for residents and non residents and has an extensive wine list and choice of drinks, though it has no bar.

Lastingham is a perfect centre for the moors and the dales, for ruined abbeys and castles, for the ancient city of York and for the coast, with its smugglers' coves and its long sandy Beaches, a mere twenty or so miles away. There is also fishing, riding, golf and swimming in the area. Other attractions include: The North York Moors Railway, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, the Ryedale Folk Museum and many more attractions nearby.
