Holme House is set in the heart of Hebden Bridge - a unique, lovely and unspoilt market town, and was completely refurbished in 2004. Holme House is a charming Georgian House in the centre of Hebden Bridge, a unique, lovely and unspoilt market town.
It is ideally positioned on the corner of New Road and Holme Street, close to local shops, restaurants and Hebden Bridge Station and also has on site gated parking off Holme Street.
All rooms are comfortably furnished with complimentary toiletries, fluffy white towels, dressing gowns and a generous hospitality tray. Wine glasses and corkscrew are provided, plus fresh fruit, flowers and a bowl of chocolates for that added bit of self indulgence!
There are a selection of books and magazines in each room for guests to flick through, plus a selection of DVD’s which you are more than welcome to borrow during your stay. Each room has a TV with DVD player.
Recent additions are radios with an Ipod docking station so you can listen to your own music too!
The location is convenient for the Pennine Way, Hardcastle Crags, barge rides along the canal, Calderdale River walk and a host of interesting and historical places to visit such as Heptonstall with it's narrow cobbled streets and ancient church, Howarth - home of the Bronte's, Shibden Hall, Halifax Piece Hall, the Yorkshire Dales, and of course the stunning South Pennines. Skipton, Harrogate and Ilkley are all within easy driving distance.
The guest dining room and lounge are elegantly furnished, in keeping with the age of the ho
use and adding to its sense of charm.
