Derrin House is a perfect as a base for touring the Glens of Antrim and the incredible Antrim Coast, and it is only a few minutes drive away from the P&O Ferry Terminal at Larne Harbour. The Belfast ferry terminals for Seacat and Stena Line and both airports are only 30 minutes drive away. The Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also easily accessible along the beautiful Antrim coast road.

Guests can use the facilities in the town's Leisure Centre or visit the historic centre, squash courts, bowling green and tennis courts; four golf courses are also nearby. Daily bus services are available along the coast, and a train service is close by for those who wish to go to Belfast or further afield.
