Black Bull Hotel

The Black Bull Hotel is a Visit Britain 2 Star Rated traditional coaching inn located on the main street of Wooler, close to the market town of Alnwick within Northumberland. Well situated for exploring the numerous historic castles within Northumberland, the Black Bull Hotel provides an excellent base for exploring Northumberland.

Alnwick with its famous castle is just 12 miles away and the stunning Bamburgh Castle is around 10 miles away. The sandy beaches and popular towns of Berwick upon Tweed and Aldwick are half an hours drive away. It is a wonderful base for walking, riding, golf and fishing.

The hotel itself is a 17th century inn that retains much of its original charm & character. The Black Bull's rooms have all been recently modernised and all feature en-suite facilities. All rooms have hot and cold water, tea and coffee making facilities and freeview T.V. The hotel has single, double and family rooms (subject to availability).

The hotel is fully licensed and serves excellent homemade food, every lunchtime and evening it also has the Milan Restaurant which serves italian and english cuisine every evening between 5pm & 10pm.
