Fern Hill Orchard B&B

Fern Hill Orchard is a friendly, family run 3* B&B situated in the centre of Laugharne, an ideal touring base for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Laugharne is an ancient township whose many customs date back to the 12th century. The B&B is within short walking distance of Dylan Thomas' Boat House, romantic Laugharne Castle and the breathtaking estuary. There are a variety of pubs and restaurants nearby, The Cors Inn across the road (award winning, most romantic restaurant). Broadway Mansion and Hurst House are only a short drive away. The township of Laugharne is where Dylan Thomas wrote Under Milk Wood and gained much of his inspiration, as did the author Richard Hughes and the artist Turner. It is very popular with modern day artists, writers and actors.

Refreshments are offered on arrival. A full Welsh breakfast using local produce where possible, is included in the price - why not try our local delicacy lavaer bread (seaweed)? Special diets can be catered for with prior notice. Guests can be picked up and returned to local stations (prior notice needed) for £7 each way.

We provide non-smoking accommodation. Regretably we cannot accept pets only guide and assistance dogs. Children are welcome. Travel cots are not supplied. An extra bed can be added to a double room for a small child by arrangement. Currently we do not accept debit or credit cards on site.
