Nestling between 3000ft mountains and the coast The Grove enjoys a central position ~ with easy access to the North Wales Path (including a stretch along a Roman Road), the Carneddau Mountains of Snowdonia, the shoreline (with several nature reserves) looking out at the mouth of the Menai Straits, Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island) and Y Gogarth (the famous headland in the resort town of Llandudno ~ within easy driving distance along a very scenic coastal road). Also nearby are the North Wales Cycle Route and many golf courses, castles, stately homes and gardens, narrow gauge railways, marinas, and fishing opportunities.
Built in the Edwardian Period, this detached residence retains a wealth of original character and following major refurbishment now also offers a very high level of modern comforts. If you want "a sense of place" and to experience the best of Welsh hospitality with an abundance of activities (many of which we can help you to plan and book) then this is the place for you. We can help you to plan your break, including transfers to and from airports, seaports, coach stations and railway stations if you want to leave the car behind. We provide a comprehensive list of restaurants and pubs where you can enjoy the best of local cuisine for your lunches and evening meals, and we can help with arrangements for taxis so you needn't worry about having a drink or finding your way around. We provide comprehensive information on local activities and a well stocked library, including many items to enrich your experience of Wales.
