The Pack Horse Inn has twelve bedrooms with wonderful views over the garden or the beautiful Sett Valley, Hayfield and Kinder Scout, The Peak District's highest point.
The inn is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink or freshly-prepared, locally sourced food whilst appreciating the glorious scenery.
Guests will be very comfortable in the beautiful garden, which has been designed to blend beautifully with the surrounding countryside. The vibrant, relaxing and comfortable ensuite rooms will allow guests to truly enjoy all that a traditional relaxing countryside break is all about, as well as enjoying and taking in some of the local activities in and around the local villages.
The city attractions of Manchester and Sheffield are within easy reach. The Peak District itself offers many activities. For golfers there are 13 varied courses within a six mile radius of the Pack Horse, whilst New Mills has a leisure centre with squash courts and a swimming pool, which, if you fancy a dip, has remarkably warm water. If you're still not sure what you want to do here, pay New Mills Heritage Centre a visit, as it is jam-packed with leaflets containing information on the hundreds of things to see and do nearby.
There are several places of historic and literary interest within easy reach including Chatsworth House, Lyme Hall, Haddon Hall and the town of Knutsford.
