The Tantons Hotel lies at the heart of historic Bideford, adjacent to the town centre and opposite the ancient bridge that crosses the river Torridge, whilst Bideford itself is geographically situated at the heart of North Devon.

A scenic and largely rural region, North Devon is bordered by Exmoor National Park, renowned for its striking country and coastal views and herds of wild deer. Tantons Hotel is privately owned and managed so that a personal and friendly service is always guaranteed. The entire hotel is continually being refurbished during the year to a very tasteful level. More than 50 bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, have remote controlled televisions, direct-dial telephone, radio/alarm clock, hair dryer and facilities for making hot drinks. Bedrooms are light and airy with modern decor and bedware; single, double or twin rooms are available.
