Then you can relax and visit the parks and gardens with which the town won The Britain in Bloom. Within a short drive of the town you can explore the quaint villages where Heartbeat and The Royal are filmed, or visit Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors, for further adventure why not take a step back in time and travel by steam train from Pickering to Whitby.
