On arrival you can choose to enjoy with our compliments an afternoon Devon cream tea with home made scones and clotted cream or if you arrive a little later a drink from the bar to welcome you. Enjoy an award winning cooked breakfast made with locally sourced products whilst sitting in our conservatory breakfast room with stunning panoramic views of the Exmoor coastline. Choose from a buffet of organic cereals, fresh fruit and juices plus homemade bread.

This Victorian house with its open stairs and low window sills is deemed as unsuitable for children and we are sorry we do not have facilities for our guest’s pets. Check in time 3.00 pm but we would appreciate a telephone call if you anticipate arriving after 6.00 pm. Check out time 11.00 am.

French windows open onto a small balcony with table & chairs and there are sweeping panoramic views of the Exmoor coastline across the Bristol Channel to Wales. Summerhouse (middle floor) has double aspect views across the Exmoor coast and Lyn Valleys. It has a magnificent 6ft wide super-king sized Rococo bed and antique furniture. Larger than Myrtleberry, it has room for a sumptuous sofa to relax and enjoy the views plus a TV with digital tuner. The ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath. Price includes breakfast.
Countisbury (middle floor) is a very romantic room with original antique French standard double bedstead and matching mirrored wardrobe. Two comfortable art deco tub chairs take in a wonderful double aspect view across Foreland Point to Wales and along the Lyn Valleys. The fully tiled bathroom has a double ended bath and integral shower. Price includes breakfast.
Hollerday (middle floor) is an intimate romantic room with a Queen Anne style four-poster standard double bed with matching furniture. The view looks over Lynton to Hollerday Hill, stretching across the Bristol Channel with Swansea in the distance. The ensuite shower room has a shower cubicle with basin & WC. Price includes breakfast.
Chiselcombe (top floor) has stunning views of Lynton across the Bristol Channel to Wales. A romantic room with a French colonial style 5ft king sized bed and matching furniture and two comfortable high back chairs. The fully tiled ensuite bathroom has a double ended bath and integral power shower. Price includes breakfast.
Kipscombe (top floor) is the largest of our bedrooms and has commanding double aspect sea views of Lynton & Lynmouth and the Lyn valleys, across Foreland Point to Wales. Redecorated for Easter 2008 the room has French antique twin beds antique desk and a sofa. The shower room has a shower cubicle Wash hand basin and WC. Price inlcudes breakfast.
The Cleaves (top floor) is a large romantic room with an impressive reproduction Jacobean 6ft wide super-king sized bed and sofa. The double aspect views are of Lynmouth & the East Lyn Valley sweeping across Foreland Point to Wales. The ensuite bathroom has an integral shower over the bath. Price includes breakfast.
