Bonny Barn - self-catering - was built in 2002 to provide self catering accommodation for cyclists using the Pennine Cycleway which runs through Harbottle village. It offers hostel style accommodation for up to 4 people. (breakfast not provided). The open-plan mezzanine floor serves as a communal sleeping area for up to four people. Mattress, sleeping bags, liners, pillows and towels are provided and duvet & flat sheets are available for couples. Single nights on Sat. not available.
Harbottle is ideally located in central Northumberland and at the foot of the Cheviots, the location is a perfect base for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. Harbottle is within easy reach of Alnwick Castle & Gardens and just 15 minutes from the popular village of Rothbury and Cragside.
Our new glass meditation room at the top of our elevated garden and with a view over the house to Harbottle Crags, is a perfect place for quiet reflection, contemplation and bird-watching.

The laminated mezzanine floor with mattresses serves as a communal sleeping area. Sleeping bags, liners, pillows and towels are provided and duvet & flat sheets are available for couples.
The open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area has a TV and clothes drying facilities. Access to the upper garden, from the sleeping area.
The kitchen is fully equipped, i.e. crockery, cutlery, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and a two-hob gas burner. Basic foodstuffs are kept on the kitchen shelves i.e. instant coffee, tea, oil etc. and other groceries can be ordered at the time of booking.
The Barn is centrally heated by combi boiler providing ample hot water for showers and kitchen use.
Secure cycle storage & Outside pipe for hosing down.
