Welcome to the St Clair Arms Hotel, Caithness, Near Thurso. The St Clair Arms Hotel Caithness was bought in June 2007 by Andrew and Sandy Mackay, two local brothers, and their wives.

The fishing village of Castletown, Caithness, is a superb location for all travellers on business or pleasure. It is central to explore the fabulous landscape and wildlife Caithness has to offer and just minutes from the Castle of Mey.
Our hotel in Castletown is 5 minutes drive from Thurso; 20 minutes from Wick and Wick Airport and only 20 minutes from John O' Groats. It is located on the main bus route to and from Inverness, and just 15 minutes from the two car ferry ports at Gills Bay and Scrabster.
Please Note: Smoking rooms are available. Pets allowed, will incur additional charge of £5 per day per pet. Children welcome. Check-In time: 1200 and Check-Out time: 1100.
