Rowan cottage is specially designed for two people, to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing break in spectacular Northumbrian countryside. It is the perfect place for a holiday in one of the last undiscovered parts of Northumberland. The landscapes of sweeping hills and breathtaking skies are a magnet to anyone seeking the perfect quietness of the countryside. Wildlife abounds. The region offers a habitat to many species of birds and animals –as well as countless wildflowers and unique plants.

Southwest Northumberland gives access to some of the most attractive parts of our region whether you wish to walk, or visit the many attractions of the area. If you want to visit attractions further a field Rowan Cottage is superbly positioned for day visits to Cumbria and the Lake District, Scotland and Durham. The cottage is supplied with its own spring water and has ample parking. It is double-glazed and has oil central heating. There is a private landscaped garden to the west of the property, with patio area and barbecue where you can sit and enjoy the setting sun. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and dishwasher; as well as an amazing range of small equipment to enable you to cook anything from a simple snack to a gourmet meal. Upstairs the bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed, which can be split into two on request. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with sink, WC, bath and shower.
