The two star accredited New French Partridge Hotel, is set in private grounds within the rural village of Horton, six miles from Northampton. Dating back to the late 16th Century, it was originally a coaching inn. It now has modern and comfortable features added by the present owners.

This boutique-style hotel offers the traveller a two AA rosette awarded restaurant, where excellent locally sourced meals are available, the perfect complement to the superb accommodation. There is ample free parking on site and WiFi access throughout most of the rooms, although it cannot be guaranteed everywhere.

Horton is a lovely country village yet within easy reach of Milton Keynes (10 miles) and Bedford (18 miles). Luton Airport is 27 miles away. The hotel benefits from its own private terrace and you can guarantee - being near a Grade I listed church - that you won’t be troubled by noise from the neighbours.

The Parr family lived in the area at Horton House up until 1936 when it was torn down. The family were close relatives to Catherine Parr the sixth and last wife of King Henry VIII.

Dubbed as St Mary’s twin brother, this handsome deluxe double room is in contrast, at the sharp end of boutique hotel style. Horton House once played host to Lord Montague, the Earl of Halifax.
A delightful standard double room with plenty of character, the Attenborough is a favourite amongst New French Partridge staff. The room is named after an intrepid explorer and local chap who lived in the area in the early 1900s and is buried in the church next door.
This standard double room has a beautifully subtle floral décor. A wonderfully elegant room to return to after a lazy day strolling through the surrounding countryside. The room is named after the Gunning family who lived in the house during the 17th Century.
Twinned with the Winterbottom suite, this gorgeously styled suite has a character all of its own. It is equipped with a host of little extras that will make your stay more comfortable than you thought possible. Named after a local family whose legacy is attached to a road name in the local village of Hackleton.
Twinned with the Lloyd Lucas suite, the Winterbottom suite is proving very popular. The exposed beams give the suite a traditional country home feel and, as with the Lloyd Lucas, this suite has all the little extras you might expect. This suite is named after Dudley Winterbottom, a local dignitary, who set up a trust for the local school.
