Kingswood is a beautiful 4 Star Gold Award rated guest house situated at the heart of Britain's finest area of scenic and natural beauty. It's the perfect centre for your visit to the beautiful Lake District. Windermere is a short stroll away. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Visiting historic houses, museums or exhibitions and attractions. The area is best known for the choice of outdoor activities, Hiking & Biking, Fishing, Riding and more We serve a full English Breakfast using local produce, grilled for the healthy option, complimented with home made marmalade and honey from our own bees! Vegetarian options are available as well as any other dietary requirements. David and Christine hope to provide you with a warm and friendly welcome, making your stay in Ambleside relaxing and enjoyable. There are walks 'from the door' and written guides to help you stay on track. Bike storage is available and ample parking for all guests.There is all you need for a comfortable stay and we will do all we can to make it a happy one. PLEASE NOTE: Check In is normally from 15:00 to 19:00. Please call to arrange early or late check in. Check Out is by 10:30. We are a no smoking accommodation. Regrettably we cannot accept pets. We do not accept children under the age of 11. We do not accept Stag/Hen Parties. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights for online bookings.
